I found your blog while googling for emacs and controlmaster. It’s chock full of stuff I’m interested in (I too, discovered the joy of softmodding xboxes a few years ago and got everyone one for christmas – ps replace the arial.ttf file with a unicode version if you want to support non-english subtitles). Anyways, thanks for posting. Everything from multiple dropboxes, to org-mode, to your various bash tidbits were interesting.
